The St. Louis Curling Club is proud to offer a variety of leagues that accommodate a wide range of curlers. Registrants must have an active membership for the current season to register for all leagues. If you would like to learn more about becoming a member, please visit our Membership page.
You are welcome to register as an individual or a full team for any of our leagues, however we will try to make the teams as even as possible for leauges, so you may get moved around when team placements happen to help welcome new curlers to our club/leagues.
Team Sign-up: Please only sign up as a team if you have a full team of 4 or more curlers. One member of your team will create the team and send out a code to join the team for the other curlers.
Individuals: If you do not have a full team, we ask that you sign up as an individual curler so that we can place you on a team. If you would like to curl with another individual, but do not have a full team, please make note of that individual in your comments when you register for a team.
League Fees:
In order to cover the rental costs for ice, each league session requires at least 6 teams. Leagues cost $35 per game, per person, and we offer an early registration rate of $30 per game, per person if you register 35 days before the start date of the league.
Subbing:
Not going to make a game or two for a league? That's no problem! As part of our membership, all members are able to sub on a team where they are not in the league. Visit our Find a Sub page to find someone to take your place for a game. Be sure to also let you teammates know you won't be there!
Please note: At least half of your team must be there or the game will count as a forfeit. If you must forfeit a game, we ask that you still find subs so that your opponents will still be able to play a game.
If you're having a long week at work and want to get away for a bit, this league is for you. Returning this season, our Hooky League occurs once a month on Tuesdays from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. This league is an open format with teams comprised of any combination of gender, age, or skill level.
Get back into the new season with some short games of curling! Each game will last 4-ends or 1 hour, whichever comes first. This league is an open format with teams comprised of any combination of gender, age, or skill level. When you register please list 1-3 of the dates (excluding the last week when all teams will curl) you are willing to take a bye week to aid in scheduling.
Our Fall Doubles League is returning this year, now for full-length games! Find a partner and experience the fast-paced action of doubles curling. This league is a doubles format with teams comprised of any combination of gender, age, or skill level. When you register please list 1-3 of the dates you are willing to take a bye week to aid in scheduling.
The Fall Social League is for casual curling this fall occurring from September to November. This league is an open format with teams comprised of any combination of gender, age, or skill level. When you register please list 1-3 of the dates you are willing to take a bye week to aid in scheduling.
The Gateway Hammer Cup is our fall competitive league on Saturday nights. This league is an open format with teams comprised of any combination of gender, age, or skill level.
Warm up your game this winter with some short games of curling. Each game will last 4-ends or 1 hour, whichever comes first. This league is an open format with teams comprised of any combination of gender, age, or skill level. The Rogers Cup is our spring competitive league on Saturday nights. Winners of the Rogers Cup League will have their names inscribed on the Rogers Cup trophy, which was named in honor of our club founder, Nancy Rogers.
