Winter Classic Bonspiel
At Waltham Curling Club
Occurring in late January or early February, our club hosts our annual Winter Classic Bonspiel at the Waltham Curling Club in Triumph, IL.
This is an open bonspiel with up to 24 teams, a 3-game guarantee, and food and drink provided.

This bonspiel is on dedicated ice at the oldest curling club in Illinois.

Accommodations
There are only 2 hotels just a short drive away (10 mins north) in Mendota: Quality Inn & Suites and Super 8.
There is a wide variety of hotels (and Airbnb's) slightly farther away (~20 mins south) in Peru and La Salle.
Spectators
Anyone is welcome to come watch the action from the warm room overlooking the ice sheets. The building may be small, but there is always room to sit and friendly people are available to chit-chat with.
There is no charge if you just come to watch, but we do ask for a heads up and a donation if spectators would like to participate in meals.
